Our Story
After helping people in the finance industry for 20 years, Caroline took an opportunity to move into the health insurance industry. She began helping employers design plans for their employees. In 2006 the government made sweeping changes to Medicare plans, so she helped her parents with their Medicare needs, and then their friends.
Now Medicare plans are our Specialty.

More important than selling a policy is following it through. Wow—don’t hear that very often, do you? We want you to call us first as questions or issues arise regarding your coverage. We have the best Customer Service staff! They’re on the phone with provider offices and insurance carriers every day resolving claims issues, answering your questions, or concerns about your coverage.
We stay in touch with you throughout the year, because life changes — your needs change, prescriptions change, premiums and policies change, people move, and the government is stirring the pot, too. We make sure you have the right coverage for your situation, year after year.

Caroline Shatto
After 19 years in the financial industry as Corporate Trainer, IRA/Investment Representative, and then Sales Rep for the mid-west corridor from Wisconsin to Mississippi, I moved into the world of insurance. I began by designing health insurance plans for employer groups.
In 2006 the government made sweeping changes for Medicare, so of course I helped my parents with their Medicare plans, and then their friends, and now Medicare plans are my specialty.
I went out on my own and started Insurance Matters LLC in 2013. My office is in Ft Wayne, Indiana. I represent the leading insurance companies, and am licensed in Indiana, Ohio, Texas, Colorado, Georgia, Michigan — basically wherever you go, I go.
Insurance is confusing, complex, and always seems to change as soon as you figure it out. I love talking with people about Medicare plans, helping you understand your options. I work for my clients, not for an insurance company.

Welcome to my corner of the insurance world! I’m Ryan Moore, a dedicated Medicare Broker serving the vibrant Midwest community and beyond. My journey into this field is deeply rooted in my past experiences and personal values.
Before diving into the world of Medicare, I spent my 30’s serving as a Christian missionary, traveling and working in various countries around the world. This role not only shaped my understanding of diverse needs but also reinforced my commitment to helping others with integrity and compassion. My mission-driven background is the foundation of my approach to Medicare, where I prioritize transparency, empathy, and personalized service.
Today, I’m proud to call Fort Wayne Indiana home, where I balance my professional life with the joys of raising a young family. As a parent, I understand the importance of planning for the future and the peace of mind that comes with having the right support.
